Dinner 4 Whole30 Beef & Broccoli
In the mood for some Chinese food? This Instant Pot beef and broccoli dish is just the ticket! Its much healthier than the beef and broccoli you would normally get in your takeout and only takes 30 minutes to put this on the dinner table. Get the recipe here.
Shopping list: 1.5 pound flank steak, 23 crowns broccoli, 3/4 cup beef broth, 1/2 cup coconut aminos, 2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp arrowroot flour, 1/2 tbsp grated ginger, 1/2 tbsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, sesame seeds to garnish, and chopped green onions for garnish. Optional: Bag of cauliflower rice to serve with.
Prep tips/make-ahead: If you use a chuck roast, make sure to trim any extra fat prior to cooking. Those cuts of beef typically are a bit fattier, but theyre also cheaper so its a good budget option. Optional way to cook broccoli: Once done the beef is done, do a quick release, remove the lid, place it in broccoli. Close the lid again, set to 0:00 on manual, and set to sealing to steam broccoli. This will cook the broccoli more thoroughly as opposed to lightly steaming it for more fork-tender broccoli.
Recommended sides: This Whole30 instant pot beef and broccoli is great served with cauliflower rice, broccoli rice, or just on its own!
Time To Conquer This Meal Planning Thing
Ok, so with 5 children and life, in general, I have to be realistic. Maybe I wont be able to follow the plan perfectly. Maybe you wont either. The beauty of it is, you can tweak it when you need to and you can move things around to suit your needs. The key is to try to be as consistent as possible and when you go off track, just try to get back on it as soon as possible. Lets be as intentional as possible and we can conquer this meal planning thing together!!

Some stores now have digital coupons you can access when you sync up your rewards card or even download their app. Kroger is a store that really has a huge amount of coupons available that you load directly on the app and it syncs, so when you go to pay and use your rewards card, the savings instantly comes off.
Day Fix Instant Pot Meal Plan Recipes
Dont worry, Im totally NOT suggesting that you have to eat the same thing for lunch and dinner on this 21 Day Fix Instant Pot meal plan. But I am using universal recipes for those spots this week because there will be SO MUCH food if you cook all of the recipes.
Instead of making all of the recipes for every single day, Id suggest picking three lunch/dinner recipes and making those for the week. You can use leftovers for your lunches or dinner later in the week. I hate to see food go to waste, so try and plan accordingly if you feel the same.
Same goes for some of these breakfast and dessert options. You really can make two or three and eat for the whole week.
Prepping snacks, desserts, and even breakfast ahead of time is not much work and you can save so much time during the week.

Importance Of Meal Planning
Let’s put it out there….Meal planning is hard! However it is also a life saver if done well. Here are some advantages:
- Saves time: You are not standing in front of the refrigerator every day and thinking “what to make for dinner”. Trust me…this is a significant amount of time each day.
- Grocery shopping is easier: As you have a plan for the week, you know exactly what to buy. And less wastage of grocery not used.
- Saves money: Less eating out…as you already have a plan in mind.
- You can prep ahead: You can prep some parts of the dishes planned for the week or just make them ahead.
- The most important: The whole family eating healthy food together!
I totally understand that life happens and we are sometimes not able to follow the meal plan exactly. But that is completely okay! Tweak the meal plan to suit your needs – strike out the days you will not be eating at home, if you miss a day, add the recipe to start of next week.
