I also think that the pork tenderloin benefits from a good sear on the stove before being baked in the oven but thats totally optional. The amount of time you need to cook pork in the Instant Pot will vary based on the cut.

The heat is from the saute feature is what activates the cornstarch to thicken, so keep un whisking until it bubbles!
Remove gravy from the heat and serve it over the pork and potatoes!

How To Cook Pork Tenderloin In The Instant Pot
Place the lid with the sealing ring in place on the instant pot. Set the pressure vent in sealing position on the lid. For our detailed instructions on How to Cook in the Instant Pot, click here.
Set the timer to manually cook for 30 minutes. This is the perfect cooking time if you want to slice or chop the tenderloin after you cook it. Chopped tenderloin makes a great BBQ salad for now or leftovers. You might want to add 5 minutes cooking time and let it set for 10 minutes after removing if you plan to shred it.
After the timer counts down and beeps the meat is done. I like to let the pressure release naturally for about 5 or 10 minutes until the pin falls indicating the pressure has released. You can do a quick release by turning the sealing vent from sealing to venting if you are in a hurry. Be sure to use a tongs or a potholder to shield your fingers from the steam releasing.

How To Cook Pork Tenderloin In An Instant Pot
Searing the tenderloin
- Cut pork tenderloin in half to fit in your Instant Pot and cook evenly. Rub all-purpose seasoning over all sides of the pork.
- Brown the pork tenderloin on all sides. Remove the pork roast and let rest on a plate. Add the broth to the pot and stir to deglaze the pan.
Pressure cooking the roast and potatoes
- Add potatoes to the bottom of the pot and place the pork tenderloin on top. Cook on high-pressure for 5 minutes.
- When pressure cooking is complete, do a natural release for 10 minutes , then perform a quick release .
- Transfer pork roast to a serving platter and cover loosely with foil.
Mashing the Potatoes
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the potatoes to a large mixing bowl. Add milk, butter, and seasoning.
- Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or mixer. Cover with foil.
Make the gravy
