How Do You Make This Balsamic Pork Tenderloin In The Oven
As I mentioned, this pork recipe originally was made to be baked in the oven. If you would prefer to make it that way, simply bake the oiled and seasoned tenderloin at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Youll make the glaze in a saucepan on the stove while the meat cooks. Youll want to adjust the water added to the vinegar to a cup instead of 1 cup.
I also think that the pork tenderloin benefits from a good sear on the stove before being baked in the oven but thats totally optional. Searing it before baking seals in the flavors of the pork and gives it that nice crust on the outside. To save on dish washing, use an oven-safe pan to sear the pork that you can take from stove to oven.

This easy pork tenderloin recipe is even more foolproof because it cooks in a pressure cooker. If you are an Instant Pot pork newbie, you may never go back to a traditional pork recipe again.
First, mix together a few pantry-staple spices, like ground sage, garlic powder, salt and pepper, for a dry rub. Use the Instant Pot SAUTE function to sear the sides in olive oil. Add chicken stock and seal the lid in place. Cook at HIGH pressure for only 5 minutes.
After the pressure has released, remove the pork to rest, and make the sweet, tangy balsamic glaze in the pressure cooker. The gravy also has simple ingredients, such as traditional balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and pure maple syrup.
The flavors balance out perfectly because of the acidity of the vinegar, saltiness from soy sauce, and sweetness of maple syrup. The recipe yields plenty of gravy, so drizzle it on juicy slices of pork and flavor your mashed potatoes or rice.
Bonus: Make Pork Gravy
You can use cornstarch to thicken the pork yumminess cooking liquid and serve it as gravy. It has some amazing flavors from the pork tenderloin and herbs.
Mix 2.5 tbsp cornstarch with 3 tbsp cold water in a small mixing bowl.
Add the cornstarch mixture one third at a time to thicken the pork & herb mixture until desired thickness.
Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or soy sauce.

First What Is A Pork Butt
The cut referred to as a butt roast or Boston Butt is actually from the front of a pig. The shoulder area to be exact. The shoulder is divided into two cuts the top rectangular part and the lower triangular part.
Historically, the top rectangular portion was a less popular cut. Butchers in colonial New England took these less popular cuts and packed them in wooden barrels for storage and transportation. The barrels used were called butts. So now you know. Interesting, right?
Now on to an easy and relatively quick recipe for pork roast. I know, this sounds a bit like an oxymoron. Pork shoulder roasts generally benefit from long cooking times. With the introduction of the Instant Pot, an updated electric pressure cooker, that has all changed. In about an hour you can have a fork-tender pork roast on the table.

We kept the seasoning simple: salt, pepper, mustard, Italian seasoning, and dried herbs. This mixture, plus a little chili powder, creates a fantastic flavor profile with a slight spicy aftertaste that encourages you to reach for the next bite.
If you are in the mood for a twist on the flavor profile, the possibilities are endless. Also, the classic version of oregano and Italian seasoning, or even the classic blend of salt and pepper, will give you good results. Dont write this dish off just because youre missing a spice or two!
