What About Using A Full
For the record, you can get similar air-fried results when cooking food in a full-size oven with convection. But because a full-size oven is so much larger than a toaster oven or an air fryer, it takes much longer to preheat and can take longer to cook food. The Cuisinart TOB-260N1 toaster oven preheats almost immediately, making it the better choice if speed is part of what appeals to you about an air fryer.
What Is The Best Way To Clean The Omni Plus Instant Pot Air Fryer
In fact, there is not much to worry about the sanitary process in this model, since its demanded cleanup is actually quite simple. All you have to do is prepare a warm, soapy sponge, and thats how to end up quickly cleaning all the Instant Omni Plus components equipped.
It is just fine to throw most of them into the dishwasher. For your information, Omnis dishwasher-safe parts and attachments include the rotisserie spit, screws, and forks.
To keep the little bits intact, place them in washable mesh bags. With a bristles brush, clean the air fryer basket and wipe off the outside with a dry towel. But be careful anyway, since you dont want it to get smoked and messed up.
Just make sure grease drippings and food particles are cleaned from the crumb tray.
A little aside tip for easy cleanup is simply to line them with parchment paper or spray them with nonstick cooking spray.

Cleaning The Instant Omni
Cleaning is not as easy as the Vortex. The Instant Omni has a removable crumb tray, which is very easy to clean when all you have to deal with are crumbs. But once you have cooking grease, it makes for a much messier clean up. I ended up essentially using the baking tray as a drip pan. But I worry that will effect the overall convection.
On air fry only the top heating elements are used but some settings use both top and bottom elements. Plus I dont really want grease on those bottom heat elements even when it using them. The door is also not removable for cleaning like the Vortex.
Overall, the pain of cleaning is a downside for me. Although I love the size of the unit.
The crumb tray does come all the way out.
The exterior dimensions were given by an initial purchaser as 17.68 x 16.34 x 14.39 inches, but my own measurements are roughly 17 x 14.5 x 13 for the exterior, and the interior is 14.5 x 12.5 x roughly 10. That is rather large for sitting on a counter. But good news for those who want a larger air fryer. The baking rack is 14 1/2 x 12. It holds 13 x 12 inch pans. I have seen reports of it being 23 Qt, 26 L and 27 L capacity. So there is some uncertainty there.
The back has a stopper so that it wont accidentally touch the wall.
Flaws But Not Dealbreakers
Due to the Cuisinart TOB-260N1s large interior, this model took about five minutes longer to cook frozen french fries than some of the smaller air fryers we tested took. That said, its slightly slower cooking time often produced more evenly cooked food that was better tasting. We think thats a trade-off well worth the few extra minutes of your time. And the Cuisinart is still small enough that it can preheat and cook faster than a standard oven.
Since Cuisinart doesnt market the TOB-260N1 as an air fryer, it doesnt come with a cooking chart for commonly air-fried foods. However, we found that in most cases, the same temperatures youd use to cook in a standard oven can also be used in the Cuisinart, whereas smaller, pod-shaped air fryers require you to cook at lower temperatures. We also found that when youre air frying vegetables with lots of moisture, such as eggplant and zucchini, its best to chop them into 1-inch or smaller pieces to prevent them from getting mushy. The Cuisinarts baking pan may warp slightly when the oven is roasting at high temperatures, but this in no way affects its cooking performance the pan will return to its normal shape when it cools. If you want a better pan, we recommend that you get a Nordic Ware quarter-sheet pan, a smaller version of our favorite baking sheet, which fits perfectly inside the Cuisinart oven.
