These little ramekins are so cute and I use them so much. They are perfect for so many of the recipes I cook in my pot. I make my Turtle Lava Cakes in them, I also serve my Arroz con Leche in them. I even use them to hold the au jus when I make French Dip sandwiches.

Can You Use Pyrex/tin Foil/metal In An Instant Pot

There are a lot of common kitchen materials and containers you can safely use in your Instant Pot, or use to fashion your own Instant Pot accessory! When an Instant Pot recipe calls for it, oven-safe glass like Pyrex can be safely used in your pressure cooker, as long as the glass is free of cracks and other signs of damage.

Metal containers such as stainless steel and non stick containers can be used in the Instant Pot too, as well as silicone accessories. Tin foil is a good choice when you need to cover an open container or bowl, and you can even use parchment paper to line dessert pans for easy cleanup. 🙂

Which Size Is Right For You

When choosing the ideal size Instant Pot for your needs, you must consider how many people you’ll be cooking for and your kitchen space.

Suppose you’re cooking for four people or fewer. In that case, the 6-quart Instant Pot is an excellent choice for someone with limited kitchen space. It offers all of the features necessary for basic cooking.

On the other hand, if you’re cooking for four people or more, the 8-quart Instant Pot is an excellent choice as it offers more features and a larger capacity. Additionally, the 8-quart model takes up more counter space, making it ideal for people with more kitchen counter space.

Ultimately, both models are relatively affordable and offer a variety of features that make them great options for those looking to cook delicious meals quickly and easily.

Im talking about those timesheets/magnets/charts with cooktimes ehh. I dont think they are a good resource since every chart Ive seen online doesnt seem accurate to me. Unless the guide comes from a blogger or recipe creator you absolutely trust, I wouldnt spend money on it.

Extra Instant Pot Sealing Ring

Oftentimes, pungent flavors from Instant Pot cooking can become just a little bit trapped in the sealing rings. So, just like you might have a special onions-only cutting board, you might consider getting a few extra sealing rings to use with pungent flavors!

Its also nice to have extra sealing rings just in case one is dirty and you dont have time to clean it right when you need it.

Lots of people prefer to have two sealing rings: one for neutral-sweet and the other for potent-savory.

• Pros: Dishwasher safe, keeps food tasting the way it should.

Instant Pot Cheesecake Pan

This is the smartest pan on the market for cheesecake. I researched high and low to find something like this because I wanted a push pan that was not difficult to remove from the Instant Pot.

Many recipes will tell you to make a makeshift sling out of foil, but you dont have to talk to many people with broken slings and dropped cheesecakes to know it is NOT worth it.

I didnt want a springform pan because Ive had unfortunate experiences with them leaking.

Personally, the push pans are a better choice to me long term pan since there are less moving parts/hinges to break.

• Pros: Extremely good quality! It truly feels super heavy and nice. It cooked well and the bottom didnt warp, even after 5 years.
• Cons: Not a ton of extra uses

Instant Pot Ceramic Inner Cooking Pot

I cant express enough how nice it is to have two inner pots. Having an extra will allow you to cook two parts of a meal without transferring and cleaning the original pot after the first step. I use this for things like Meatballs & Mashed Potatoes and Orange Chicken with Rice. You can cook the Main dish in one pot, then replace it with a second to steam the rice.

If youre going to get a second inner pot, I recommend a ceramic non-stick version to compliment the stainless steel version. This 6-quart version has a ceramic non-stick interior coating, and is plastic, PTFE, and PFOA free. It can also be transferred to the oven up to fairly high temps, so you can keep the food in it warm while cooking in the second pot.
