What Is The Difference Between Steaming And Squeezing Instant Pot
To answer your question as quickly as possible, I would say that there is a difference between cooking with a press and cooking with steam. Steam prep is when you just cook your food on steam. You can cook steamed food in the pressure cooker and steamed food can be cooked in the same pot until the lid is closed.
Turkey Soup From Leftovers
Using the carcass to make bone broth and the leftover turkey meat makes this soup very cost-effective. You can eat a lot of meals off of one turkey, even if you have a large family like me.
After your bone broth is made, you will find that a lot of meat falls off the bones, and you can use that in your soup. Or you can add shredded turkey to make your soup even heartier.

Why Use The Pressure Cooker
Pressure cooking in the Instant Pot reduces the cooking time a fair amount. Using an electric one also allows you to leave the pot unattended while it cooks. The cooker will even switch to a Keep Warm setting once cooking has finished so you dont have to worry about turning off the cooker right away when the soup is done.

How To Make Potato Soup In An Instant Pot
There are just a few simple steps to make the best Instant Pot potato soup. Ill give you my best tips to make sure your soup turns out perfect!
The first step is to sauté the aromatic ingredients, which in this soup are onion and garlic. I like to cook the onion in a little butter, because I like the flavor that the butter adds to the soup. You can use olive oil if you prefer.
Once the onion is soft, youll add some minced garlic to the pot. Youll want to press cancel to turn off the Instant Pots sauté mode right after adding the garlic, since it takes a few minutes for the pot to cool down.
Before adding the remaining ingredients, you need to deglaze the pot to remove any browned bits that might be stuck to the bottom. All you have to do is pour in a little bit of broth and scrape up any bits from the bottom of the pot.
Next, you will add the remaining ingredients and pressure cook the soup for 6 minutes on manual. The Instant Pot will take a few minutes to come to pressure and then the cook time will begin counting down. When the cook time ends, you will let the pot release naturally for about 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
Once the steam and pressure have all been released and the pin drops down, it is safe to take the lid off of the pot. Now all that you need to do is mash some of the potatoes and thicken your soup!

Old Fashioned Vegetable Beef Soup
This soup is somehow forgotten. I dont see a lot of people making it or food places offering it like I used to. Is it that people dont like it? I dont think so.

Dont Overfill Your Instant Pot
The first issue is how do we prevent overfilling the Instant Pot? When making soup on the stovetop, we can pretty much fill the pot to the brim. However, the Instant Pot is a pressure cooker. Pressure cookers need a certain amount of empty space in the pot or they wont work.
You should never overfill pressure cookers, or else they wont be able to pressurize. Only fill your instant pot ½- full.
I have a 6-quart Instant Pot, which is pretty standard. There are 2 ways you can make sure the Hamburger Soup recipe will fit in your pressure cooker:
1. Super Accurate Method
Measure how many cups the ingredients will take , understanding that the liquids will settle in the cracks between the solids, so its not a direct addition. If the ingredients are going to overfill the inner pot, adjust them so they only fill it about 1/2-2/3 full.
2. Stephs Lazy/Simple Method
Add ingredients, to the inner pot and when you add the broth, stop when the IP is ½ full. After cooking, if the soup needs more broth or water, add it and stir it into the finished soup. This is my preferred method because it requires no math or prep work.
What Is The Soup Setting On Instant Pot Answered
As you may already know, there arent many limits when you use an Instant Pot. It is a handy little device and can be used for a number of different things. For example, baking, boiling, pressure cooking, and more. It is initially a mixture of a pressure cooker and a slow cooker, meaning that it has more than a few applications and is a good tool to have in the kitchen. All this variety and effectiveness is one of the main reasons why Instant Pots are so famous, and it could also be the reason why you may own one.
Instant Pots are also pretty simple and easy to use, although this is only true if you know what youre doing. For example, someone thats using the device for the first time in their life will obviously struggle to operate it properly. On the other hand, someone thats experienced and has been using Instant Pots for long will be able to navigate their way and cook whatever it is that they want using it. There are many different options that people will have to learn more about in order to get familiar with the device. One of these options is enabled using the soup button.

Best Turkey Soup Recipe
The best turkey soup recipe is full of noodles. If you are gluten-free, you can use brown rice or quinoa noodles. I found a brand I love at ALDI that is inexpensive and made with organic rice and quinoa. I love to add these into my soups to add texture, flavor and make them more filling.
If you are on the paleo or whole30 diet, you can leave the noodles out and add in red potatoes. This still makes a delicious turkey soup, and this is the way I make it most often.

What Is Hot & Sour Soup
Although it is a Chinese Soup that has its origin from the regions of Beijing and Sichuan. Noteworthy is that U.S.A. and other Asian countries like Japan & India have their own versions.
As the name claims, this soup is sour and spicy/hot in taste. Rice wine vinegar lends the sourness and Red Chilies/White Pepper adds the spice/heat quotient to the soup.
Mostly Shitake and wood ear mushrooms are used in the recipe along with carrots . But it is common to see the use of Tofu, Bamboo Shoots, Cabbage, Eggs, and Soy sauce in the recipe.
