- Using thin cut pork chops can result in dry meat. Since the chops will be cooked under pressure, the meat tends to dry out if it is thin cut. Also, it might not have the best look to it.
- The best alternative to cooking the thin cut pork chops would be cooking them on the stovetop.;
USING BONELESS PORK CHOPS
- If you prefer eating boneless pork chops, make sure to use thicker size cuts. Also, it will result in a tender and juicier meat.
- Its important to note, that the meat is done when it reaches an;internal temperature of 145 degrees F.

No, the pork loin chops do not have to be covered with liquid in the instant pot. The idea of making pork chops in the pressure cooker is that they cook with steam. If they are covered with liquid they will boil and thats not the result that we are looking for.
Thats why you only need 1 cup of liquid, which sits on the bottom of the pot underneath the trivet and the pork chops elevated above it.

For 1/2 to 1-inch thick pork chops it takes 0 minutes to cook in the instant pot, plus between 8-16 minutes of natural release.
Zero minutes, really? Yes! It takes time for the electric pressure cooker to build pressure and start the cooking process. While it is building this pressure , the food inside it is being cooked . It usually takes 10-15 minutes to reach high pressure.
Since we aim to prepare juicy, perfectly cooked boneless pork steaks, we want to get them out when they are just done. The safe temperature for pork chops is 145 F, but I usually cook mine to 150-155 F and they are just fine. Keep in mind that the meat will be covered in liquid, so this will prevent drying out to a certain point.
Brown chops in the Instant Pot on Sautee for 1 minute per side. Cook these boneless 1-inch thick pork chops in the Instant Pot for 0 minutes on Manual High Pressure with 8 minutes of natural release time.
