    Cut the salmon filets into even sizes. You can also purchase them already pre-cut into filets. You can remove the skin if you would like, but it is not necessary to do so. It is easier to remove the skin after cooking.

    Season each fillet. Make sure to rub the spices in for best flavor, and then place the salmon in the air fryer basket or use the trivet if using the instant pot air fryer lid and your salmon are on the larger size, set air fryer on 400 degr ees , air fry for 7-8 minutes.

You’ll also want to make sure you follow the one cut of liquid rule. In order to come to pressure, most Instant Pots require about one cup of liquid. If your Instant Pot is not coming to pressure, try adding a touch more liquid.

    The two methods? Saucing and steaming. For either method, after everything is in the pot, lock the lid, and set it to high pressure for five minutes.     Can I Cook Vegetables At The Same Time In The Instant Pot

    Yes, sort of. Vegetables turn to MUSH if you cook them at high pressure for 3 minutes.

    Total mush.

    So, instead of cooking the fish for the full 3 minutes, I recommend cooking it for just 1 minute, then quickly releasing the pressure, removing the lid, and adding your vegetables on top. Secure the lid again then use the manual setting to cook on high pressure for 0 minutes and when the timer beeps again, quickly turn the pressure release valve to venting to release the pressure again. Everything should be cooked perfectly that way!

    When cooking salmon in the Instant Pot Ive found that I cant get much flavoring to stick to the salmon, so I prefer to whip up a seperate sauce in my blender while its cooking away.
